Windows 7/vista

How to Put it back :
/!\ If you do any mistakes, it's not our fault , by reading this and doing it , you accept this fact. /!\

1]Getting the Version you need

Just download the version with a green @ near it

2]Prepairing it
Put the file you freshly have in a folder and leave it open
-- If the name isn't "minecraft" or "minecraft.jar"* rename it

3]Getting to minecraft file
Open your MC game , go to Texturepacks , then open texture pack folder . then look in the adress bar for a ".minecraft" folder and click on it.

3bis]Getting to minecraft file ( Experienced User only )

Open a folder window or Execut command thing, then type "%appdata%" then go to ".minecraft" folder

4]Removing Non-wanted version
Once your in the ".minecraft" folder, close your minecraft game then go to "bin" folder then rename the actual "minecraft"/"minecraft.jar" to something esle but NOT the same name ( "minecraft(2)" allowed )

5]Placing the wanted version

Go where you puted the file you freshly had then copy and paste it in the bin folder

6]The end
Run minecraft and if it works close folders then come play with us Smile
-- If it don'"t works , look at known issues or reinstall/reupdate minecraft
-- you might lose all your mods

*: to be sure it works

KNOWN ISSUES:
When minecraft shows its loading/updating, it freezes near the end.
-- Go back to the bin file and rename the "minecraft.jar" to "minecraft" or "minecraft" to "minecraft.jar" [ONLY ONE, NOT BOTH]

For Mac

How to Put it back :
/!\ If you do any mistakes, it's not our fault , by reading this and doing it , you accept this fact. /!\

1]Getting the Version you need

Just download the version with a green @ near it and preferably save it to your desktop. Also if you have minecraft open close it since it will interfere with changing the files.

2]Finding files
Open a new finder window, and go to your home. From there go to Library -> Application Support -> Minecraft -> Bin*

3]Removing non-wanted version
In the bin you will find a file named "minecraft" or "minecraft.jar", rename that to something else other than minecraft.

[b]4]Placing the wanted version

Drag the file you downloaded into the "bin" folder, and it should not replace anything since you re-named the old one.

[b]5]The end

Run minecraft and if it works close windows then come play with us Smile
-- If it doesn't work, look at known issues or reinstall/reupdate minecraft
-- You might lose all your mods (Probably will)

*: to be sure it works

KNOWN ISSUES:
When minecraft shows its loading/updating, it freezes near the end or you get a blackscreen.
-- Go back to the bin file and rename the "minecraft.jar" to "minecraft" or "minecraft" to "minecraft.jar" [ONLY ONE, NOT BOTH]

Look at my post regarding 1.1 in the news section or on the portal.

Just download the version with a green @ near it and preferably save it to your desktop. Also if you have minecraft open close it since it will interfere with changing the files.

Open a new finder window, and go to your home. Then press ctr + h which shows hidden files. Then find the .minecraft file or search for it.*

Go into the file and you will find a bin folder. In the bin you will find a file named "minecraft" or "minecraft.jar", rename that to something else other than minecraft.
